Guide for authors

Call for Abstracts

Researchers, clinicians, academics, and postgraduate students are invited to submit original research abstracts related to bioactive dentistry, biomimetic restorative approaches, minimally invasive dentistry, cariology, preventive dentistry, dental materials, and related fields. All abstracts must be submitted electronically through the congress website.
 
All abstract submitters will access the Congress Website: https://www.bioactive-mid-cariology.com/DENTISTRY2027. Upon creating your account and logging in, you will be able to submit your poster abstract in the menu under Abstract Submission.
 
If you have any special requests (because of religious, academic, travel or personal conflicts) or if you wish to request that abstracts be scheduled in a specific order, enter this information in the “Special Request” box when submitting your abstract. It will be taken into account when setting up the scientific programme. It is very difficult to make any changes after the scientific programme has been set-up.

Conditions of Submission

  1. Confirm ethical approval where applicable.
  2. Confirm the work has not been previously published or presented.
  3. Grant permission for publication of accepted abstracts.
  4. Register for the congress upon acceptance.

Abstract Rules and Guidelines

  • Original research only.
  • Title maximum 10 words.
  • One presentation per presenting author.
  • Multiple co-authorships permitted.
  • All co-authors must approve the submission.
  • Conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
  • Abstracts cannot be modified after the submission deadline.

Abstract Format

Maximum length: 300 words. Abstracts should include Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions.

Review Process

All abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee and will be evaluated for scientific quality, originality, clinical relevance, methodological rigour, and clarity of presentation.

Presentation Formats

Accepted abstracts may be presented in Poster Presentation.
 
Poster dimensions: Posters must be prepared in A0 portrait format (84.1 cm × 118.9 cm). Posters in landscape orientation will not be accepted. Authors are encouraged to use a font size large enough to be readable from a distance of 1.5-2 meters.
You may also wish to specify:
  • Title: ≥ 72 pt
  • Authors: 40-50 pt
  • Section headings: 32-40 pt
  • Body text: 24-28 pt
  • Figures and tables clearly visible from 1.5-2 m
  • Recommended resolution: 300 dpi (minimum 150 dpi).
  • Preferred file format: PDF.  Authors should ensure that all images and graphics are of sufficient quality for large-format printing.
